My year in gri11 2.0

HI this is my year in gri11 11 2.0 this year has be an awesome year. I have been in cricket ,basketball , epro 8, ricoh 7s team, t20 cricket and lots more I am glad i came to college street normal school. At the start off the year i was not the best at maths and that now i know most of my times tables and have got much better at all of my subjects.

Sport is a big thing to me i am very competitive and try my hard at all the things i do.to all the futer collenge street kids be in all the sports and performing arts so give it a go and you will never know.

The Agency target is a big target that is a learning goal. You put little darts on the goal you need to work on. There are six goal and they are learning pit, learning spaces, striving for excellence, collaboration, knowing myself as a learner, managing and designing my own learning. The three colours are red, orange and green. Red means you need more help and need to improve. Orange means you are ok at the goal. Green means you are amazing at the goal. My goal is learning pit. I am a red. I think I am getting better and soon I might be moving on to orange. I am going to try to achieve that by not worrying so much  about succeeding and focusing more on doing my work.

CSI TTS

TTS stands for traditional teaching style. It was a block at school where our teachers taught us in an old school way. We had to march, sit in desks with our names on them, work out of textbooks and we couldn’t talk.

A CSI is a thinking tool that shows how we feel about an event.

I think it was too strict, a negative environment and I hated that there was no technology.

# basketball camp

Hi i am Van i am 10 years and i love sport and i hope you like my blog so here we go. We arrived at the arena basketball camp. As we opened the door we saw 100 balls were bouncing and people shooting hoops. We had to sign in at the desk. As the coaches called us in the whistle blew and we all sat down ready to listen. The first drill was Seaweed to warm us up, and we won the game. After that we lined up and had to jump over the line on the court depending on what number was called. Then we lined up in our age groups and we did drills with our coaches. There were lots of coaches for everyone. We did shooting drills, we had to practice doing the movement of shooting, but shoot the ball to a partner. It was a good drill you can get good at shooting with that drill.

There was two days in the basketball camp after lunch we play basketball games coach Stacey the under 13 coach sent me to play with the high school kids i was like one of the little kids. As my team mate made a brake i called yes here pass pass and he passed it to me and i got a lay up and then my team mates called me van the money man my new name. the end
 

Hurricanes come to our school !

Sitting in the art room waiting for the Hurricanes, Mr R said "Come here Rippa team!" We all zoomed to the door. We looked at Mr R.  "Are they here yet?" ''No, not yet'" he said "Go and run out through the hall and the crowd will clap for you." he told us.

We ran out and the crowd cheered. We sat down and waited and waited.  Mr R told the school to do the Mexican wave. Suddenly we heard the door open. The crowd went silent and we looked at the hall door...3...2...1... here are the one and only Hurricanes!!! So let's play some Rippa!
Green vs yellow.  It's on!!!!!! The Hurricanes were our coaches.

Jamie passed it to me and I stepped one player and pass it the Cole and scored. Jacob pass it to Cooper good pass by Jacob Cooper runs fast and steps scores oh no cole tap and passed it to me and i scored and we won the game!

This was the video our school made to get the Hurricanes to come.

where i like to learn

I love it at gri11 2.0 it is a cool class my two teachers are the best mr R and miss G. My favourite place in the classroom is the hub
i like the hub because all my friends work in the hub and i like working with two or three friends around me that i can talk to and ask for help, I also like it then the teacher can see me at all times so I don't get off task and the teacher can help me if need be. My favourite place is by the PING PONG TABLE
